I just got a dog from the shelter about 3 weeks ago. The shelter had made an appointment for her to be spayed. But, the soonest they could get her in is January. Anyway, when my kids were going out to the bus another dog had gotten into my fence and I caught them in the act. So, now I'm worried. Could she have gotten pregnant from that? She is 6 months old.

we thought he had a stomach upset with loose bowels, but it's continued for over a week. We take him out and walk for a good distance and he won't go outside.

I have a 40 gallon tank. I have had 3 fancy goldfish for over 2 years. I moved and lost them once, and when those people left they left my tank with nothing when i found them they survived abt 10 inches of black water for for over a month with no filtration. I live in the country with well water chemicals not needed to maintain tank. I had water cked. abt 6 months ago bought a blue gourami fish. lived well with them. 2 weeks ago I bought 2 SAE fish. 5 days ago my blue gourami and one of my longtime fish died. I have 2 goldfish left they are abt 2 inches and always healthy. they are lethargic, fin and tails are weathered, and skin seems to be coming off. I have done a 25% water changed and treated water for ick and put melafix and stress salt. They will eat some move around for a minute then drop to bottom and lay there. I am at a loss. I have been treating them for 3 days and no results. please any suggestion would help. they have survived so much. Please help

My sister says I should get my cat Fonzie a live mouse for Christmas. She said I can put it in a little ball and it will run around the floor and he will chase it. I know those mice are sold as food for snakes and stuff but I think it's kinda over the top. Is it wrong to do that?

i got him october first and he's only recently started the dumpster diving. i have tried spraying him with water when he isn't looking and such, but he really doesn't care about getting wet. i heard that cats hate citrus. is it true that if i put like a orange peel in there he won't go in there anymore? any other suggestions??

We named our black cat Nikta (night in Greek). I need a name that indicates or signifies GRAY. Gray or ash or smoke or stormy in another language might be cool. He is solid silvery gray with black eyes surrounded by yellow. Even considered Gandalf (Gandy). I want a name that means gray or immediately brings it to mind.

I was given a Maltese puppy for Christmas and she is very sweet. I expected my Shih-Poo to get along with her just fine like he does with other dogs. But he doesn't. He refuses to play with her and gets protective of me when I try to pet her or she comes near me. How can I get him to get along along with her and have them be buddies?
