My friend's old horse has a shakey ankle...only one. She also is having a little bit of liquid from her crotch area. Do you know what this means? She can't get the vet out to her house untill next week.

How old is the horse? The liquid could be normal, unless it has a foul odor and appears to have infection. By "crotch" I assume you mean her vulva. It could be a sign she is in season.
The "shaky" ankle?? I guess she is not riding her. The ankle - called a fetlock - could be injured or broken. If it is hot and swollen she should ice it down and use liniment, possibly wrap it for support until the vet can look at it.
