We named our black cat Nikta (night in Greek). I need a name that indicates or signifies GRAY. Gray or ash or smoke or stormy in another language might be cool. He is solid silvery gray with black eyes surrounded by yellow. Even considered Gandalf (Gandy). I want a name that means gray or immediately brings it to mind.

Since he's grey, "Earl" might be funny, you can tell people that's just his nickname, and that his full name is something long & silly with "Bergamot" in it!

røyk is Norwegian for Smoke. If you can figure out how to pronounce it, that might be a cool name. We have a solid gray cat we named pebbles. You might like that.

I once knew of a beautiful long haired gray cat, his fur was a silver gray color, his name was soot, as in the stuff you get from a fire place

I have a gray kitten named Nimbus for the type of clouds that produce rainstorms. It's also a synonym for halo, which further describes his fuzzy little aura.

Gadzooks is cute and so is Gonzo I also like Bub Oscar is ok Jasper is one my favorites Silver is a very cute one I like Toby sorta Mojo is nice Tabo or Taboo are my last although I highly recommend Jasper
