Hopefully it will not hurt the kitten although I have heard of cats dying from eating tomatoes. Onions are extremely toxic to cats, garlic a little less so and not good at all. Tomatoes are in the same plant family - the nightshade family - so they are not good for cats either. The leaves and stems of the tomato plant are apparently more toxic than the fruit (tomato).
So maybe the worst that will happen will be a little stomach upset. Just don't let the kitten have access to them in future.

I don't know. Maybe give him some lettuce? I haven't heard if tomatoes are bad for cats. I don't think they are. If you're worried, just keep an eye on him. If he starts getting ill, get him to a vet. I'm sure nothing will happen. One thing to avoid giving your cat is chocolate. That's like poison to them. Even a tiny amount will make them very sick.

Nothing, it's not bad for him/her. If for some reason it doesn't agree with her, she'll just throw it up. Cats are actually really resilient when it comes to eating stuff. They just throw it up. If they can eat mice and bats, a tomato won't hurt.

It'll be okay unless he eats a lot of it. My cats have gotten ahold of plenty of tomatoes before (I have a tomato garden) and it never hurt them.

You should not have any problem. Eating a tomato should not hurt your cat.

I doubt that tomato in any amount can hurt a kitten but it would be wise to confine the animal to one room in case it desides to vomit and you panic, thinking that it is blood
