Take the kitten to the vet. It will die if it doesn't eat. There could be something seirously wrong with your kitten or it could just be something minor. It is better to be on the safe side though and take the kitten to the vet.

I understand you concern -- I've been through this before
------- ------- ---------
Make sure that your cat really has not been eating, your cat may be still drinking off his/her mother's milk, most likely not considering kittens only do that for a short period of time.
Theres a chance your cat may be eating something other then cat food. Is your cat an outside cat? He/She could be hunting down mice and birds and eating them instead of the food you give him/her.
Its best not to wait more then another two hours to see if your cat has been eating or not. Watch your cat closely, try giving him/her a diffrent kind of cat food, a whole diffrent product.
If your cat continues to starve him/her'self for the next couple of hours call the vet and ask for advice.
Good luck!

I have a cat that had the same problem. Take it to a reputable vet immediately. Whenever an animal refuses food, there must be something really wrong with it. My cat was diagnosed as having kidney problem and was hospitalized. Thank God she is now OK. Don.t worry cos with proper medication, the cat will recover. Good luck. Go now.

If you suspect poisoning, then there is no time to lose! Take kitty to the vet. Give the vet info on what poison you suspect to be the culprit. But I'm thinking - two days is a Looooooong time to have left it untreated. Poor kitty's organs may already have sustained damage.

TAKE the poor kittie to the Vet. Do not try to treat him yourself when you admit you do not know what is wrong with him. Do not be so cheap as it is a life you are talking about.

Take him to the vet right away. Cats need to eat - they are NOT like dogs who can go through a fasting period. Worst case scenario is renal failure. You need to act. All the best.
