My friends think I have lost the plot with my dog,he has a range of pressys from a new bath robe to a wrapped bonio, the bath robe is actually a blessing as he has to bath every month (smelly dirty muddy dog) and he loses the bath towel in seconds and we all get wet..But truth is I love my dog and I could not imagine opening pressys without him joining in the fun.

I have two laying hens... and since I'm new at raising chickens, I thought I'd ask about proper feed for them. I feed my cats & dogs extremely high end food (Canidae, Felidae) as I know that typical commercial food has all sorts of nasty stuff in it. I would assume the same applies to chicken feed. What do I look for to ensure my hens are getting the best quality diet? Is corn okay as the first ingredient? Is there a better source of calcium than oyster shell?? Thanks!

I have a 20 gal tank on the second floor of my house now, I want to get a bigger one, but I am worried about it being too much weight in one small(er) area. Is there guidlines for how big a fish tank you can put on a second floor without worring about the floor and any potential damage? Thanks!

Okay, I am thinking I will go with cichlids only and not get the oscar after all. What types of cichlids will get along best? I know some are more aggressive than others, and i would like a pretty, peaceful tank. Any ideas?

I am 14, I have 2 outside cats, 1 outside dog, 1 outside rabbit, and an inside hamster. I would like another inside pet, but I can't have a dog because my mom doesn't like me having a dog in the house. I was going to get a ferret, but I don't think my house is suitable. So now I don't know what to get. I am responsible, I'm just not sure. And I can't have a cat or rabbit inside, because I am allergic to them.

My Friend has a puppy. The people they got it from said it was a Great Dane. But it looks like a lab. Also the people she got it from said that she was 6 weeks old. But she looks like 4 weeks. She’s still very wobbly and she’s very small.

But I just want to know exactly how to take care of her. Because I will be watching her while my friend in is South Carolina and I want her to be kept in good care. I couldn’t find any good sites either to help me out. So anyone that knows how to take care of 4-week-old puppies PLEASE HELP ME OUT. I have been giving her water. (She has had it supplied to her at all times) and they only have small hard food. But I have been putting milk in it to make it soft for her. So your comments are greatly appreciated. :)

Please and thank you...Nicki

My dog has a tumor in her ear. When we had it removed, it grew back. My grandma; who was a doctor, said she has cancer. I have had my dog; who is now 12, for 12 years of my life. We are like sisters. I actually have never seen her as a 'dog' but as my sister. My parents want to put her down, and I am the only thing in their way. They don't want to put her down either, but they think it is the best thing to do soon. I don't know how to deal with it. Even the thought of her dying brings me to tears...

I took my 6 month old yellow lab mix to my GF house. She as a pet sitting service and there as a 1.5-2yr yellow lab there as a client dog. She owns a Chocolate Lab, cocker spaniel, and one more but forget the breed. Well, from the moment my dog arrived til we left 6 hrs later, the client dog kept trying to mount my (both males). I understand dominace...but 6 hrs. Was this just a gay- pedophile dog? Why was this dog so adament in showing his continued dominance? My dog did the best he could to get him off...but size was a factor.

i just got this new dog a (havanese) and she has a spot on her leg where it looks as if she got shaved, and there is a faided red spot vet thinks it COULD be ringworm but it not sure without a test but a test cost 50$ and i have no way of paying 50$ for a test and then if its is ringworm paying more for it(short on cash). the breeder says none of her dogs have any signs and that its just a spot where she got hurt somehow. is there any over the counter ointoment for ringworm i can buy for her( that wont hurt her) just in case it is ringworm.(better safe than sorry) i have other pets and a 2 year old i have to worry about i dont need any of them getting this fungus.oh and if i do give her meds when will she be safe to go around? thanks!!

My male kitten is just a few months old...he is getting snipped in 2 days. However, he has just started trying to mate with my 1 year old female cat who wants no part in it. Will he stop after he gets fixed? Or am I in for a life long problem? They are both indoor cats.

Is there a procedure to reverse spaying and neutering? I feel so out of the loop and I want to breed my 3 year old female Black Lab/German Shorthaired Pointer to my 2 year old male JRT/Beagle.

Could you imagine the bucks I could make! What the hell am I going to school for? Sitting in a stuffy office and not getting paid anywhere near what I'm worth? Where have I been?

Don't you think I could charge at least $1000 a pup for German Jacklables?

I'm gonna call my vet and of course I'm going to ask everyone on here how to properly breed and then I'll make sure to be on here while my dog is delivering getting all the vital information I need to raise a NEW BREED!!

I'm gonna be rich.

What do you guys think?

I have 2 dwarf hamsters, I have had both of them for a year now and to be honest they bring no joy to my life, they always bite me and one of them even draws blood. Some websites suggest handling them everyday but when I do I get bitten reapitivley and it hurts too bad to endure. I can't give them away because it would break my heart but they are so mean! Also they are lazy any way to get them more active? The one doesn't even burrow so I have to constantly clip his nails!

Okay, I have two cats that like to go on long walks. They are both boys. I've found out that one goes to a little yellow house. I'm afraid to ask if that person if it has my cat, as it may be insulting. I don't have any pictures but I do have a sign planned. Neither of them have collars because they can take them of and they don't have chips because they wouldn't like to have that done so I didn't make them. What should I do!
