a fur bed
a harness and lesh
some small toys
food and water bowl

please tell me anytrhing you know on starting with a new puppy? are these things alright?

I have a 9mo Greman Shepard, who has started this habit of circling. Not to sleep or anything, just going around things, like now, he is going under my desk and behind my chair, sniffing the ground. He doesn't have to go out. If there is anyone out there that can help me figure him out. He is caged about 5 hours a day while we are at work. There is someone that does let him out and play with him while we are at work. So I don't think that it has anything to do with the fact that he is pent up. Maybe costipaited? He does have a fetish for underwear. I am just looking for him to relax.

I am now trying by leaving a trial of hamster food i look everywere upstairs thats were i lost her and also the way i lost her was i was playing a game on my computer in my room i laid my hamster on my computer desk then a little later after the game i put on my clothes and i guess i forgot to put my hamster back in her cage later i was coming upstairs to get something for my hair and i saw that the papers on my computer desk was knocked over and her cage was open.Sooo! Can yall give me some tips on how to find my hamster SnowFlake?I love her dearly!

I have a 9 month old cairn terrier who is constantly biting us. Does anyone have any ideas of how to correct this problem? We pick up something off the floor, go near him when he is eating, or when he has something that he should not have, this is when he bites us.

We have had her roughly 2 months, she has seperation anxiety and so if we leave her she goes mad, she attacks other dogs and today ended up being run over and is hurt (not badly tho) She bit an old man while walking past today so we called our brother who is a vet and he is putting her to sleep tomorrow. We have tried so much on this dog, and even spent £100's on trainers to try and help the problem, still she is no better.

Am i doing the wrong thing?

I'm so p*+@ed off. I've tried pepper to no avail.

My puppy is a germain shepard husky malamute, she is 19 weeks and is getting spayed on the 4th I also plan to have her dew claws removed. Is this really necessary? She does use them when she plays and to hold her bones. I hate to have her in pain from being spayed and her claws cause the healing process is much longer on her claws. What would you do?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help my dog's ear stand up. One of his ears is up and stays that way. His other one flops over, every now and then it will stand up but only for a few seconds. Any suggestions for me to help train his ear to stay up? I was told that if they are not standing by 8 months then I need to do something about it. it's a baby red eared slider. don't know if its a male/female..

usually its in the water swimming around, but today it was weird. is it b/c of the winter season or something and needs to be warm?

I have been pet mindng a lot lately and I can't decide.

In many instances it seems pets I have looked after accept me as the new owner but maybe they are only living in the here and now.

How do they know if their human family is coming back to them?
They see the suitcases, the hurried goodbyes and the car disappear along the driveway and on to the open road.

For the first few days they watch for their return then this behaviour disapears and maybe they accept what they perceive as the inevitable.

Can pets possibly understand the human concept of holidays?

will we have 3 cats one old man is panther and one young lady is kitkat and the new one he is mario.And let me tell you that mario is very very full of engery I dont know where he gets all his engery .We were think of trying to find him a different find of home but i cant part my self. we even feed 5 cats out side that are homeless and thay act better than mario what's up with this crazy cat. He about 6months in jan 07 he has appointment to get fixed.We hope this will slow him down It did with my other 2 cats I hope with this one. Any feed back would help thank you very much. Mine has done it twice when the gate got left open.
First time she ended up about 1.5km up the road at a high school and went to morning assembly. Caused quite a stir apparently!
