My husband and I own a dog and three cats. We help take care of two more dogs, chickens and two horses that actually belong to my mother in law but we actually just own a dog and three cats. What about you?

I was clipping my dogs nails and i just barley clipped it to far, its kinda bleeding but not too much, i was just wondering is there anything i can put on it...like peroxide or something...not sure....suggestions

I've never had a dog with any of the symptoms like a runny nose or chills or lethargy or vomiting (unless they ate something bad). Can they get those types of sicknesses like we humans get?

Hi I've had Ringo for a year now and he has epilepsy( but he is not on medication as the seizures are very rare and not bad ones.) he has recently starting shaking just sort of bobbing and wobbling up and down a bit when he breaths in. Its not all the time but every now and then. Yewkie my other basset shakes (more like shivers) when she wants an extra snuggly cuddle, I have tried giving him big extra snuggly cuddles but it doesn't help. Any ideas of what this could be? - he doesn't appear to be in any pain he is 7.

dosnt it make u mad that people say that there gonna kill there pet cuz they caint take it with them or the just dont want it. it makes me VERY mad. i get so irratated. i dont see y they caint just make a quick stop to the shelter or vets. no matter how far. i hate people who do that dont u. i would never do that to my pets im an animal love not an animal hater.

she is so so rude i asked a few questions about my dog to get variouse ansewrs from different people and alls she can do is say bad thins about me she dont know me or anything about me i am a good person with lots of love for my dog thats why i was asking all kinds of questions. I hope that you read this because theres no need for you to treat people like sh*t that you dont even know may be next time you go to bad mouth someone for no reason you'll think about it. I didnt deserve that any neither do the how many others you have been rude too.

we do not let him free because he might be dangerous(for strangers)so he has not had the oportunity to "meet" a she dog.

I'm shocked by how many people come here just to ask about home treatment for serious disease/condition. It really upset me when they ask a such thing. I think those people should be put in prison for a couple years for doing a such thing. Do anyone else feel the same way?

i considered yorkie, but now i am thinking that it might not be such a good idea. i want a toy dog but i don't want the dog to be yappy or overprotective of one person. it should get along with people very easily and have a low temperment. I'm visiting a yorkie and their breeder today to see, so please help before it is too late. oh yea- i got the ad from a pennysaver and the woman sounded very nice. is this a safe way of buying a puppy? my friend got a dog from pennysaver and it is very healthy and nice.

My cat was attacked by something a few months ago and it toar her ear canal in half. When it healed it healed closed and now she needs surgury to have the canal removed. Its called something like LATERAL EAR RESECTION has anyone had this surgury done on one of your animals? What did it cost and was their any complications afterward?
