My sister and I are going to breed her 3yr old golden retriever for the first time, and I have no idea how much money I should ask for, for each puppy. Some places say $900 others say $1000 to $200

last night i got really mad at my bf and said i was going hone, i grabbed my purse and ran upstairs, where my dog got ahead of me. i tried to grab for her so that i could shoo her back downstairs but instead she caught my hand in her mouth and pulled and pulled until she pulled me into the living room. i was so upset by this point that i locked myself in the bathroom while i sobbed hysterically. she just sat outside the down clawing at it, howling and crying for like 20 minutes. she never acts like that.

did she know i was upset and trying to leave? do you think she thought i was abandoning her? or do you think she just knew i was really upset?

i ended up crying myself back to my senses and didnt leave and then she was fine like nothing happened.

just wondering what your thoughts were on it. she's 6 months old, aussy shep. we've had her for 4 months, but she's a daddy's girl and always has been

This is going to be our first family pet, but we just moved into a new home and we are worried about how messy a rabbit can be. Are they high maintanaince? What are we really getting ourselves into? We would like to consider all the negatives before we make the commitment.

When a dog scrubs his butt on the floor what does it mean? My family and I always thought it just itched. But, one day at school I told my friend about it, and she was like, "Oh, you know what that means, don't you?" I lied and said "Yeah." But, now I'm so confused! Please help.

my dog (Taz) eats his food really quickly, and he's making himself sick, in fact he was sick in the living room about 10 minutes ago, so do you have any ideas how to slow him down?

2 things. The reason we think he is relating the goat smell is because another day, my husband decided to cook some lamb tender loins and Brodie(our dog) cowered and acted almost the same way as he did to my brother in law. So, we are thinking maybe he was on a farm with goats or lambs and abused, so he relates that smell. Another thing, my brother in law is not a wierdo who is abusing my dog when i am not looking or on drugs. This has happened since the very first time he stepped foot into our house.

I was just wondering this. I never knew this even existed. My new pup I had for just 4 days so I brought her back to to the North Shore Animal League, in Long Island, NY to be treated for Pneumonia. She is getting better, slowly, but surely. I am assuming I have no financial responsibility, but could I be wrong? There are puppy lemon laws, but do they apply to shelters as well? I really fell in love with her, but I don't have thousands to shell out on Dr bills bc of an illness she contrasted at the facility.

I had my puppy neutered Dec 1st. For the first week after that he humped his pillow, why I don't know, but now he has stopped that. But he still gets out of the yard if he can find a place. I thought having him neutered would make him want to stay at home not roam. Why does he keep going over the fence? He rares up on it, until it bends over. He is 7 months old and weighs around 65 lbs.

I have given her those rawhide things you get from the store, and she finishes those off in less than 5 minutes practically. If you give her a ball to play with, she chews that up to! What can I give her to chew on that will keep her occupied?

My dad came home a couple weeks ago from Iraq, so I took my cat into my arms and helped her get used to him, opened up my room so she had a place to sleep, I took care of her. She's used to my dad again, but follows me everywhere, I can't go to the bathroom without her Yelling outside the closed door. Is there any way to wean her onto the rest of the family so I don't have to be her constant attention?

She's the only one that gets sick from going to the vet. My two other cats never get sick when I bring them! The office is CLEAN and the vet is friendly with the animals! I said the stress does that! There's no problem with the vet!!
