Akita's are fully mature at 2yrs old as they are large dogs.He will reach his full height around 10-12months although he will continue to fill out body wise up untill about 18months.

He'll have reached his full height by around 10 months but will still have a lot of filling out to do before he's mature.

most dogs stop growing anywhere from one year to a year and a half. How ever as they get older they will get fatter.
