I have a 2 and a half year old black lab cross *****. Gentle natured although dislikes other dogs and being left alone. I am going to be taking her back to the dogs home unless i can rehome her. I work long hours and it is unfair on the dog.

I origionally got her from a rescue home as i fell in love with her, i now want to see her settled into a new family who can give her a loving home. I will also give away all toys and beds i have for her free. Willing to drop her off. please get in touch if you are interested. x x x stedwoman@blueyonder.co.uk

The 16th day, My Hamster will be giving birth! If she actually is pregnant...I'm not sure. She has put on weight, ate much more than usual and made a huge bed with all her bedding and some tissue I added. If she and the male mated around 11 PM 16 days ago...will she have the pups at 11 Pm today?

I am in Jacksonville florida, he chewed thru the screen and flew off.will he survive for long?I put the other lovebird outside in a cage . maybe he might come back if he hears her chirping?any sudjestions.as to how I can get him back.I also put out a bowl of cream corn he likes. Thank You

i have three ornamental goldfish in a 15 gallon tank. this morning i saw that they were breeding so i set up a ten gallon tank and put the eggs in there so they wouldnt get eaten. i havent done anything different with the fish and there havent been any temp. changes for months. why did they suddenly breed in december? also what do i feed them once they hatch?

My dogs toenails are black. The tips of them however are discolored most are reddish two are white (this is primarily only on her front paws). I used to think that she only chewed them when they were getting long becasue she didn't like the way it felt (it seemed once I cut them she wouldn't chew them for awahile). However I've noticed her doing it more often lately. Do dogs get any type of fungus on their toenails that would discolor and make her chew them. Should I be concerned? Are there any home remedies I could try, if something is wrong?

A couple weeks ago, while driving down the road, I saw a kitten by the side of it, still moving it's head. We stopped and took him straight to the animal shelter.

After examining the baby, they told me that it showed no signs of being hit by a car -- its injuries were from being thrown OUT the window of a quickly moving vehicle. There was little hope, but they promised to do what they could.

The kitten will live, thanks to the on-site vet at the shelter. He has two broken paws, a shattered pelvis, and a fractured vertebrae in his back, along with numerous lesser injuries. He will come home with me next week, if he's well enough, the poor thing.

Why can't people at LEAST take their pet to a shelter, if they don't want it? Are they too ashamed to look into the eyes of a person there and tell them they don't want their pet? If so, why can't they at least set the poor thing down on the ground and give it a fighting chance? How can they live with themselves?

please help.my 10month old westie puppy wont give proper signals when she needs to go for wees.unless i watch her constantly she will do her business inside.when she needs to go she will circle the back door once or twice to let me know and unless im in the room to let her out she will pee in front of the door.how do i teach her to bark or jump the door to get my attention if for example im in the kitchen.she does the same with poo but only every couple of weeks or so.she is a lovely dog but she is not fully house trained although she is old enough for it.i cant watch her 24/7 so can anyone help?

I have a femal cat, got a new male cat Sunday, he has been staying in a serperate room till they can get along, last night he used the bathroom on wrapping paper!! I about had a cow! Can anyone explain to me why? He has his own litter box, I am a very clean person, the litter is clean, I am keeping him no matter what but can't have this using the bathroom on things?

Is a one inch wide leash okay for a Maltese puppy? This will be my first time owning a small dog and I just ordered a one inch leash for him but I'm wondering if the latch on it would be too big and heavy?
By the way I'll be using it with a harness not a collar.

I have a peaceful community tank with 3 ghost shrimp, 5 rosy red minnows, 3 glow light tetras, 3 glass catfish and 1 female betta. I was wondering if swordtails could be added to this tank or if there would be compatibility issues. I'd also like to add my 2 albino and 2 emerald cory catfish that I currently keep in another tank.

I live in Phx az, i just got a 4 month old german shepard female for a gift. I want to have her trained really well, and to be a guard dog. I have children in the house so i want her to be trained where she doesnt walk all over them shes wild thuogh, she just goes where she pleases and listens to nothing, I would love to find her a place close where i live that would take her in and train her, any suggestions???
