Hi, sorry for your loss. I too lost my budgie at the weekend after 13.5 years which came as a big shock. I am told that 13 years was a good life for a budgie on their own. It was like a first baby for me as I had her when I lived on my own and now have a family of my own.

It was probably depression that killed him,Think about this way,,you took an animal that has the gift of flight and you locked it up in a cage.do you feel bad?you should!!
