The best time to look for her is at night or very early morning, before everyone usually gets up. Hamsters are nocturnal, and she'll likely be moving about when the house is dark and quiet. Hopefully, you don't have any cats or dogs in the house. My classroom hamster escaped when it was just a teeny baby. About 4 weeks later, we saw her running across the classroom floor, big as a house. I'd put her cage on the floor in your room, with the door open or some other easy way for her to get in for food and water. Perhaps, you'll be able to catch her.

if you have another pet, it's probably following your hamster around ;) Look and see.

Put a bowl of food in the room you lost the hamster in and close the door. If she's there she'll come out to it in time. Put some food in another room too and leave all other doors open, in case she got out of the original room.

If she's very sociable she might come to you if you just sit still for a bit. Mine always did -- he learned to open his cage on occasion and would disappear till night time then come cuddle with me when I slept (I have NO idea how he managed to get up onto the bed, but he always would).

Well, first I'd set the cage on the floor near where it usually is. Set it up in a way that she could climb into it. Leave food or, I don't know, tubes?, leading a path back to it. Be sure to leave a bit of food outside any cracks or small, narrow areas, because she could be hiding in there and would come out for the food eventually. Other than that, just hope that she isn't hurt. Best of luck!

Don't stop looking! If you have any other pets like a cat or a dog make sure you're aware of their where abouts and they might actually be able to assist you. My dog always let me know when my hampster escaped because she could hear and smell where she was. Rodents are really attracted to the smell of peanut butter. But using food lures when your hampster is running around in a strange and new place probably won't work unless it was overnight and you had some sort of live trap.

Take a bucket and place food in it. Then make a "ladder" out of a board to lead to the top. When the hamster goes in to eat, it will not be able to get out. But when my old hamster got out, I found it on the basement stairs. Not to mention we have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Just look in tight, warm spots, especialy under the stove and refridgerator.

if you have hardword floor, then put white flour in each doorway, so u can c the pawprints in it. If u have carpet, close all of the doors in ur house after putting a little bit of food in each room, and check every few minutes if the food has been eaten, so you know which room ur hamster was just in.
