Yes, they will. Whiskers don't help them land on their feet, their tail does.

Yes it will still land on its feet, but do not do this, it is cruel. You would not like someone to remove a functioning part of you, would you?
The reason they would still land is that balance sensors in both humans and felines are located just inside the ear.

Oh yeah, and whoever mentioned the tail was partially correct-tail does help in balance, but is not the only thing. The MAIN thing is sensors in the ear. You can wiki it or something. I have seen a cat with a stump of a tail and it could land just fine. Also, there are bobcats that have really short tails too and it does not affect their balance significantly.

Thats a strange question. Wiskers are not used for balance.
So, wiskers on cats are used to clean their faces and body. IF you cut them, it would be a big problem for the cat because its a big change.

Yes, unless you secure a slice of buttered toast to the cat's back, in which case the cat will land buttered side down,( as toast always does), that is to say, on it's back.

If you cut off a cat's whiskers, it will be able to fly and land on its rear feet releasing a big MIAW!

Of course, the whiskers are used for not bumping into things in the dark. If you cut them off it might piss Mr. Kitty off at night. : ) I've heard of momma kitties chewing their kittens whiskers off so they don't stray too far from home.

whiskers are for judging the width of tunnels and small, close spaces, its the tail that is used like a rudder to balance.

They wont grow back & they need them to be able to tell where they can fit without getting stuck. The whiskers are as long as the width of the body.
