Is it true that someone with an eating disorder will look like their eyes are bulging out of their head? I heard that somewhere.. (By the way, I don't have any kind of disorder..just curious) Thanks!

Well I walk on the treadmill atleast an hour each day and try to burn off as many calories as I can.I also try to eat things like grapes and fruit but I dont seem to be losing any weight.Any body have any tips?And I also wanna try to lower my percent in body fat and my BMI really badly.Basically guys I just wanna melt off the fat epecially around my tummy and arm area.

We want to eat healthy but don't have a lot of money for all organic foods, etc., and we don't want any fad diets. Just looking for some simple recipie ideas, or helpful hints. Mainly we want to lose some weight and lower cholestrol, blood pressure, etc. So we need ideas for all meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner and maybe even some snack ideas for people who love salty and sweet but are sick of the extra poundage? i am 5'6 14 and 150 pounds!! i dont look chubby with a shirt but without one i look kinda fat. i am walking 2 miles each day jogging one mile each day, also riding bike for two miles using a strider for 1 mile and doing 50 leg kicks and 50 arm punches and 50 pushups and situps each day. i eat around 1500 calories a day. i hate dieting but good at excersising. how long will it take to lose weight and how much would i lose? how long will it take for me to look skinnier?!!!

I love to run and lift weights. I want to find the best way to include both in my routine, and still recieve the benefits of both without one messing up the other.

I have heard that running on same days as lifting is okay and not okay. Running on an empty stomach in the morning, running as a warm up for lifting, I'm not really sure what is best.

My plan right now

-run 20 minutes on mornings of weight lifting days (3-5 days)
-run 40 minutes on days not weight lifting (1-2 days)
-1 day rest per week

I want to run, but not destroy precious muscle.
Can I run when my muscles are recovering without burning them up, and by burning fat instead?
Is my plan okay, or is there a better method of running and lifting?

I have extremely bad knees that don't bend too well and a stiff back but I need to lose 15 lbs. I have heard that cardio workouts burn calories. I have searched the internet for routines that I can do but have found none. Does anyone have any suggestions? Squats, lunges, anything like that is out for me. HELP
