Try deep, slow breathing for a few minutes at least twice a day. It helps train your body to relax.

Make sure when exercising, your heart rate is at least twice its resting rate for not less than seven minutes and no more than fifteen at least three times a week. Mine is 54 but during a workout it hovers between 120-144 after 15 minutes of high impact high intensity exercise.

Regular exercise will DEcrease the resting heart rate, due to your heart becoming stronger therefore, it will not have to work as hard i.e. pump as many times a minute to get the job of circulating oxygen filled blood to the rest of your body.
