Im desperate to find some diet tips to help me shed the last stone of my diet, im just stuck? Help.....

Without using any "Lose 10lbs in 10 minutes" gimmicks or dieuretics, the only tried and true method to weight loss is exercise and diet. Simply put, if you burn (exercise) more calories than you consume (diet), then you will lose weight, and become healthier overall in the process. I'm sure there are plenty of good books out there to help you monitor your caloric intake while still eating healthy foods. Try eating slowly for starters. If you take breaks in between every couple of mouthfuls, it gives your stomach a chance to register the fact that it's processing food. Then it'll let you know when it's full. On the other hand, if you eat really fast, you'll end up cramming alot more in there before your stomach catches up to you, so to speak. Also, try eating a little bit but more often. In Asia, for example, rather than sitting down for "3 squares a day," as we do in the West, and notwithstanding their healthier diets (fish, rice), a traditional meal may consist of 5 or more dishes that one may consume at their own pace. Finally, start walking instead of driving. It's great exercise and gives you alot of time to think about "that last stone!"

It sounds like you've already been dieting, if so then you've hit the really hard patch, the pounds that will go up and down regulary, it will take a very long time to lose them and you will constantly fight to keep them off, because the triglycerides in your body never disappear, just get smaller and can absorb fat at any time. But the key is to excercise more than you eat and keep eating healthily

just drink water all day. have a bowl of weetabix with banana for breakfast, a brown bread sandwiche with 2 slices of whatever i usaully have ham with light butter and two peices of fruit for lunch, for diner have loads of veg and and a small peice of meat and go out once a week clubbing and dance all night you should see the weight fall off in no time i did! and dont drive down the shop or in to town get a push bike or walk its really not that hard to loose weight. have a treat once a week dont deny yourself life without pleasure is only half lived!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Try and change things a bit, do a different exercise regime, do a different diet, slim fast, the special K diet?
