When I was a "Vegen" I did eat fish & chicken, but mainly Vegeez! Steam your Vegeez, (fresh broccoli &carrots, with any squash) Yummo!! Go so well, together! Then, I would have a baked potatoe, with salsa on it, (no butter,on anything)! With that as much fish or poultry as you wish, prepared any way, except fried! And no salt, because the salsa has plenty of salt in it . And although our bodies do need a certain amount of salt, in order to help us detoxify, by sweating...Too much salt is really bad for your vital organs, which is why Big salt users, are usually large people. Not because, their over eaters, but because of the salt consumption. The body will push the salt away from the vital organs, and cause people to swell up, like balloons! Its also very bad on your heart eating too much salt. But, back to the diet I, use to be on. I ate as much of the vegeez, fruit (apples), fish and baked potatoe w/ salsa. or sustitute that with whole wheat bread. No butter. You can consume as much of these foods, as you want .. And have so much energy, all day long!! Happy energy. The wheat bread, makes you Happy, and all the other foods give you energy, like no bodies business! I lost so much weight, and felt satisfied! I never craved sweets, because the squash, is a natural sweet like delicsious vegetable! Apples, not only clean the teeth, but will also make you feel energized, along with take the desire away for sweets! Before, that morning coffee. Have a banana, with a honey bran muffin. Talk about energy there as well! Then, go ahead and have your coffee, just wait about 15 minutes, first, for the banana & muffin to digest a tad. I got so many compliments, on my weight loss, and my positive energy level!! Made all kinds of friends, in those days, they wanted what I had. But, I was also "On Fire For God" in those days! Still am, just dont eat that good, like in the old days!!! Try it, you wont regret this "Wonderful Diet"!!!!

there is this really easie salad called manderine chicken salad. it only has a few calories!! its pretty easie. you just take lettuce and tomatoe and any other veggies that you like and put them together> than you cut 1 manderine orange into bite sized pieces. you do the same with an apple a pear and also throw in some other fruits you like then for some protien you add some grilled chicken i used the frozen kind but you can use homemade. cut it into small pieces then also put some blue cheese or goat cheese. also add some low fat crutons. if youput all of this in it it only has a few calories and it contains all of the food groups. enjoy!

Maybe a salad with meat on it? Or if you just have lots of veggies and no lettuce you can make a salad out of lots of chopped veggies with a sauce you like on it, like olive oil, or salad dressing.
