For the past 8 months i have been working out with a personal trainer, and i just can not gain any muscle. Every 6 weeks i get my arms meassured and i have actually been losing arm mass. My personal trainer says im just losing fat... well i dont have much to lose to begin with and my bench is going down, so i know im losing muscle too. Is there anything i can take or do that will help me gain muscle mass? Or should i just go with the steroids? I have been eating right i take vitaman c and drinking a protien drink once a day five days a week. Is there anything maybe i can get at my local gnc that really works?

My daughter just turned 13 and she ways 150 lbs. Before school starts, I want her to loose 50 lbs. What should she do to loose 50lbs., or 10lbs. a week? I don't want to pay alot of money!!!

I heard that the diet pill Hoodia was suppose to work great...only if you could find 100% pure Hoodia. I guess some companies were putting fillers in theirs. Anybody know anything about it?

I eat breakfast, and I drink tons of water as well. But for some reason whenever I'm on that Elliptical, I'm dying. My head really aches and I start breathing really hard and a lot of times I feel really nauseus and what not. Why is this? I don't even go that fast, I do a moderate speed.

What to do?

I am 5'5" and weigh 143. I drink beer almost everynight. Like 3-6, more on weekends. Other than that I eat pretty good and I am active. I used to weigh about 115-120. How long should it take me to lose the weight? I am willing to walk as exercise. How far should I walk? I am getting chunky!!!

i am fourteen, 5'6", and i weigh like 131 lbs. since i don't have to be in school over the summer, i wanted to work on toning my stomach, maybe even going for the whole washboard 6-pack thing just so i don't feel so sluggish...like, i know what exercises to do, in a way, but i kinda don't know how to do them...i specifically want to work on my lower abs - it would mean a LOT! thanks!!! :-)

I am 260lbs, 23 yrs, and 5'7", I coach soccer, and play golf, every week, I am fairly busy, but find myself gaining more weight. (i do have a desk job), I want to lose 125 to get to my goal weight of 135, how long will it take me? and I want to stay out of the gym...only because it is summer....

i'm tryen to lose weight and i found it hard to run. i decided to walk instead. how long should i walk each day and how often? today i walked for about 40 min and it was mostly flat ground a few hills here and there....should i walk more than once a day? please helpp! thanxx

I walk on the treadmill for an hour every day and watch what I eat. Everything on my body looks great except for my stomach and the love handles on my back. What will have the best and fastest impact? I have an ab lounge, will that work if I give it the time of day, I don't feel like it does a whole lot. I don't want to buy anything else unless there is something out there that for sure works and is inexpensive.

I didn't get this until after my 2nd child. I lift light weights, do push-ups, and they only get bigger ( not steroid big ) but noticable to me. No, I don't have a a prob w/ overeating, so you guys don't have to tell me to watch what I eat :) I know better.

I do 30 min on 65% Target Heart Rate for fat burn on the elliptical. With weights, I do two sets of 15 with light weights. I am currently doing elliptical first and then weights- Is it better to do weights before elliptical? or does the order of exercises not matter?
