Yes, I take Hoodia, and I LOVE IT!! It absolutely works- and I was a total skeptic. The product I use is called Hoodia Supreme, and you can find it at GNC, or other vitamin stores. Each capsule contains 400mg of Hoodia Gordonii. I workout at 8am, have a smoothie for breakfast at 9am, take 2 Hoodia around 11am, lunch at 12 or 12:30, another fruit and yogurt smoothie or 10 almonds at 3pm, and 2 more Hoodia at 5 or 5:30, then dinner at around 6 or 6:30. I am absolutely NEVER hungry. I couldn't believe that I didn't get any hunger pangs, considering that I am only taking in about 1000-1200 calories per day, and doing a vigorous workout (The Firm) in the morning. I take 1600 grams of Hoodia per day, and it is totally safe, no side effects at all, and I am never hungry. It has really helped me stick to my eating plan, because it makes you feel full. It is very easy to stay on a diet with Hoodia. I am always sure to drink at least 1 gallon of water per day- this helps as well. Hoodia Supreme is 100% Hoodia- don't buy anything that is not 100%, because most of it is filler. 1 bottle of Hoodia Supreme is about $35 for 60 capsules at GNC where I live, and I go through one bottle every 2 weeks- but believe me, I don't mind, because it is totally worth it. They have a website: www.hoodiasupreme.com. By the way, Hoodia is not a "diet pill". It does not help you burn fat, it just does an awesome job at suppressing your appetite- and that is more than half the battle! Good luck!

Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
Anyone who attempts to lose weight by reducing calorie consumption experiences feelings of hunger and fatigue. Hoodia diet pills attempt to reduce those feelings, making it easier to stick to a low calorie diet and therefore lose weight. As with any weight loss plan, only people who are in good health should use hoodia diet pills and they should be used in conjunction with appropriate diet and exercise. Because thirst is suppressed as well as appetite, it is important to remember to drink plenty of water. Most experts recommend eight 8 ounce glasses per day to maintain proper hydration. Other than thirst suppression, there are no known side effects associated with hoodia diet pills and they are probably a much better choice than diet pills containing stimulants.
I tried Hoodia and......
Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:
Asker's Rating: *****
very good comment i lost 2 lbs in a week
i think i can almost get in my leather dress, i can hit the town in no time
**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii - A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.

What I think is funny is that the word Hoodoo is, technically, the darker side of voodoo but is most commonly used to denote something that is fake or a con ... such as "what kind of hoodoo weight loss stuff is this"?
It sounds like someone is playing a joke on you.
