Sit ups, crunches, leg lifts and other ab excercises will help you tone the muscles in your stomach area but they won't help you lose very much weight. To lose weight you need to do Cardio. Swimming, running, cycling and cross crountry skiing are all great ways to shed some pounds. And remember you need to get your heart rate up above a certain level for a period of time (usually at least 20 minutes) for it to be effective. If you're serious about it you should join a gym and talk to a physical trainer, not only will you be in better shape but you'll feel better too.

The best way is to eat healthy. Stay away from fried or food with lots of calories and saturated fats. Also make a point to do ab exercises each night before you go to bed. For example, I like to do fifty sit ups before I go to sleep..it does not take that long. Another important thing is not to get discouraged if you don't see immediate results, depending on your body it may take a few weeks before you can really tell a difference.

LOOK REDUCE THE THE QUANTITY OF YOUR FOOD INTAKE AND YOU CAN BREAK IT TO SOME MORE TIME WITH LITTLE ONLY.
IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN REDUCING YOUR BELLY PLEASE MAKE A 30 DEGREE SLANTING PLANK SUPPORTED BOTH ENDS AND WIDTH

.SIMILAR TO TRIANGLE TO THE SIZE OF YOUR HEIGHT.THE SLOPPING FLAT END OF THE TABLE KEEP YOUR LEG ON THE TOP SIDE AND YOUR HEAD SHOULD BE ON THE BOTTOM SIDE.THAT MEANS THE HEAD STARTING FROM 30 DEGREES AND IT GOES UP TO THE HEIGHT SAY 3.5 FEET HIGH ON THE LEG SIDE.TIE THE LEGS IN BETWEEN THE ROPES YOU HAVE TIED FROM END TO THE OTHER ONE SIDES PROTRUDING.
TAKE YOUR HAND FOLDED AND KEPT BEHIND YOUR HEAD FOLDED VERY TIGHT.NOW THAT YOU HAVE TO GET UP TO TOUCH THE KNEE POINT SLOWLY BENDING.FOR THE FIRST FEW DAYS IT WILL PAIN TOO MUCH AND SLOWLY IT IMPROVES.FINALLY NO PAIN AT ALL.
AFTER BENDING TOUCH YOUR HEAD ON THE KNEE CAP AND COME BACK TO NORMALCY POSITION OF YOUR STARTING POINT. IF YOU PRACTICE DAILY I AM SURE YOUR BELLY WILL DIS APPEAR.TOTALLY
GOOD LUCK
