I just started using these dvds from Target. One's called the 10 minute solution with kick boxing and the other is a cardio dance thing from a lady that does it on the channel Lifetime TV. Do you think if I use these at least 4 times a week, drink plenty of water, and still walk or jog several days of the week, and reasonably diet, do you think these dvd's could help me gradually loose my flab? They are really fun, so I like doing them, I just really haven't done something like it before... Have you used any workout tapes? Did they sort of work for you? Thanks..

you know just drinking water for 3 days and nothing else. and then 3 days you eat whatever and then go back to 3 days of just water.

is it safe for a 13 year old?

I plan on losing at least 30 pounds over the summer. I attempted to diet last year, but I didnt stick to it. I know I have to eat a well balanced diet and exercise. I need some tips on how to lose weight before school starts again. I would like to surprise my friends when I come back. Also, are there any foods that help me lose the weight? I do eat some fruits./vegetables and stay away from junk food. Are there any exercise activities that would help? Lastly, did anyone have any diets that worked very well?

i've been reallly trying to go on a diet -- it's been pretty healthy. the only hard part is i can't seem to give up sugar completely. so this is what addiction is like? when you don't have it -- you turn into a maniac and really look for it. anybody addicted to sugar who has an experience with giving up sugar completely? it's really hard. because if im going to watch what i eat, i might as well eliminate anything that's bad. it's like saying you're a vegetarian and eat meat. you know what i mean?

I'm really slim but I have a horible diet. I have weird times where I'm almost never hungry and eat very little, but normally I eat frequently. I love chocolate and anything sweet, pizza, carbs, and fruit. I'm beginning to exercise more to gain muscle, and I swim, but that's it. I don't have any health problems, so I basically need motivation to start eating right. And suggestions for yummy health food.

do salads really taste so good? or are people just eating it because they don't have a choice -- because they're on a diet?
im on a diet, but it seems like there are no other options left but to eat salad -- but im not really into dressings (they're too sour for me) and i cannot eat salads or vegetables as is. i usually like a hot dinner, so that i am satisfied. (no growling stomach at night etc.) any suggestions?
