It's eggs, cheese, meat and vegetables. Vegetables to avoid are all potatoes, corn, peas, winter sqash(like acorn). Stick to greens (spinach, lettuce, etc.) asparagus, green beans, brocolli, cauliflower. Watch your add ons like salad dressings which can be high in sugars.

Don't skip any meals. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack is a good program. Don't undereat.

If you find yourself craving, think back to what you ate an hour earlier. Chances are you ate something starchy or sugary which caused your blood sugar to drop and cause the craving. You may find you didn't eat anything wrong. Then you need to think back before the meal to see if you skipped a meal or snack or underate at that meal or snack. Again, causing your blood sugar to drop.

I cut out sugar and carbs for 2 weeks one time and I lost 10lbs that I actually managed to keep off. As much as some people may frown on this, I found aspartame to be my best friend. I could still have Diet soft drinks, splenda (sugar substitute) and a few other things that have the sugar taste, without the calories.

It is not about cutting sugar completely.. It is teh amount of sugar and carbs. Because carbohydrates turn into sugar. My Dr. recommened The Medifast Diet. It is Soy Protein. It teaches you to eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism. You will lose weight quickly with very little exercise. I have lost 35 lbs. so far. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. lovejae247@yahoo.com

Your body needs sugar to function. It is important that you eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies every day (sugar free or low carb diets tell you to cut down that amount significantly). If you want to lose 25 pounds in 2 months (a fairly reasonable goal, though challenging) I suggest you cut down on your portions and junk food, rather than cutting out sugar.

Are you cutting out all sugars, or just processed sugar? Most meat is sugarless, but not processed meat like hot dogs and lunch meat. Tuna is good, as well as eggs. If you are only cutting out processed sugar, then most of your veggies are a good choice.
