I am going to try to get into the Air Force Academy and i can run a mile in 7:30 and do 60 sit ups, but i just cant do pushups. How do i get up there?

Have tried foot powders and baking soda and they don't really work. Putting the shoes through the laundry only works temporarily, and I isn't really good for them anyway.

I haven't exercised much for 5 years (used to play squash, swim and do circuit training), and have put on a surplace stone or 2 which i need to lose. I already eat healthily, wth lots of fruit and veg and very little "junk food" but the excess weight remains. I am not excessively overweight, but want to do something now before it becomes a problem
