I'm 14, and my heart rate is 72 per minute. My doctor said that was good, but for an athlete it should be 50-60! What does a large heart rate mean? How do I get it lower?

I need the best, nutritional way to lose weight. Something that will last forever. I am told that I do not eat enough, but I cannot seem to bring myself to eat when not hungry. I'll take any 'serious' advice. A nutritionist's answers would be greatly appreciated. Especially an exact meal plan/example. I would prefer to avoid pills/medication.

i need to lose weight and i have nurophathy in my feet so i cant walk a long distance any one know about nurophathy will know it is painful so i cant walk unless i hurt. So is there anything i can do other then walking to lose weight.

Why do overweight people ( many of them i agree might not be all of them) get offended whenever they see ads for weight loss and whenever ppl say something about their weight yet ...at any given time on TV or on the street you see ppl making faces at smokers or showing ads on how smoking kills you....Fat can kill you too....Why is being overweight such a taboo?!And smoking is not?!

My body builder friend suggested I try his diet for 2 weeks to shed a few pounds and build some muscle. Does it sound ok?

30 mins of cardio 5 days a week + 3 days weights.

A 1200 calorie diet of:

Breakfast-

A protein powder shake
Eggbeaters w/ frozen mixed veggies

Lunch-

A packet of string cheese
A salad with bell peppers, black beans, corn and feta cheese with low cal dressing.

Snack-
Banana

Dinner-

4-6 oz of baked Salmon in light olive oil
1-2 cups spinach or broccolli

Snack-

Banana
