You can do resistance training which basically is the use of weights and machines, to see if that would be an effective way of overcoming the problem of doing routine exercise. Not only might such exercise improve cardiovascular risk factors such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels, but nondiabetic neuropathy and those with arthritis (I dopn't know if this condition applies to you) suggests that such exercise might also have a beneficial effect on pain symptoms, perhaps by relieving muscle spasm. In addition, if a resistance training program could reduce blood glucose as does aerobic exercise, it could improve glucose control and perhaps reverse the neuropathy to some degree. I hope you can feel well soon. Good Luck!

If you have neuropathy I assume you are also diabetic. Water aerobics are a good alternative. The warmth of the water can be temporarily soothing. Assuming you have good insurance or a large inheritence, there are medications available (not pain-killers) that may relieve the sensation. Also check into your local re-hab center. They help people after strokes, knee & hip replacements, etc.... and may be able to teach you an exercise routine you can live with.

Go Raw! You can eat as much as you want anytime you want to. Your weight will regulate fairly quickly and your health will drastically improve. Start by replacing all your snacking/grazing with cut up raw veggies of your choice.... with a healthy salad dressing as a dip. Eat salad with pure protein of your choice for more substantial meals....and I guarantee within weeks you'll start feeling so much stronger!!
Bike riding is a fun workout. So is gardening which can be done sitting down. And swimming too!! Being out in nature will give you energy, so even if you drive to a beautiful spot, to sit and meditate, that'll still be good for your mental health...which is important for long term results.
Blessings! (ask for Light from God to give you strength and remove negative assumptions and beliefs!)

You could try eating different foods, as well as a balanced exercise routine would be helpful, you aren't required to walk in order to lose the weight. Try simple things like leg lifts, situps and things of this nature.
Good luck !!

Lara if I have been you i could visit the universal practitioner immediately if the hurting keeps to take place. the reason being because of the fact if a woman very similar to your self get hit too difficult contained in the breast area this would improve probabilities of having breast maximum cancers. Granted, i'm no longer asserting that he elbowed you so difficult into the component that your probabilities of having breast maximum cancers had severely greater, however the universal practitioner would provide you suited diagnoses or perhaps prescribe you an antibiotic ointment which will cut back discomfort. Goodluck and that i'm hoping you sense extra constructive.

Have you tried any form of pilates? Depending on your weight, even if you are extremely obese, it can realllllllllly help! A lot of it is done on the floor on a mat, as well, and you can buy DVDs to do it in the privacy of your own home. Yoga is good, very lowkey and very easy to get your blood flowing.
Otherwise, watch your diet! That's the best I can do.

Yes, in order to lose weight you could:
1-reduce calories intake (eat less)
2-increase physical activity: if you can't walk confortabily, JUST SWIM!!! This is an excellent excercise.

Change your eating habits compleatly and start eating smaller portions, You can use machines, like stationary bike and the like couldnt you?
But the eating you can do without having to hurt....go on a program like jenny craig perhaps, or if you are confidant that you can do it on your own then you cut your meal portions down and that really is all you need. Its not the best as walking but..If you can't you can't...

First consult a doctor to know the cause of ur neuropathy. It might be due to diabetes.
If everything checks out, try the no meal diet, its basically 7-9 meal (very small) during the waking hours.
