The best way to lose weight is to first of all become acquainted with the kitchen and get on good terms with it and the food that will be cooked. No matter how much money one earns, how well they exercise, if they don't have food that encourages health, weight loss and tastes damn good then to start would not be a good idea because the yo-yo effect will inevitably occur.
Get a hold of some good recipes, find out your calorie and macro-nutrient requirements each day and start manipulating the recipes to suit.
Food is the biggest and hardest key to weight loss, not exercise. Takes nothing to exercise, takes everything to eat properly.

Guzzle down the water (cut out sodas, and no more than 6 oz of juice {not from concentrate} per day - this includes diet sodas, because some are sodium laden). Exercise at least 3-4 x a week with cardio AND strength/core training. Eat less, cut out full fat diary, and fill up on veggies and fruits. Antioxidants are good; eat a lot of salmon or other good fish high in good fats.
If you want the easy way, you can always fun to GNC and get some Trimspa!
