I have a small black speck on the top of one of my molders, I have been to the dentist twice and they have not said anything about it. So, could they have missed it?

I had perfect teeth until recently I was eating and accidentally bit hard on a metal chop stick. I can definitely see that my lower middle tooth sort of went out of place a little. This is very traumatic to me. Is it too expensive to consult a dentist?

How much do regular metal and ceramic orthodontic braces cost including check-ups and fees?

I have a slight overbite, nothing major or too noticeable. Anyways, I may get veneers someday for mild orthodontic problems. I was wondering how veneers can help with the appearance of an overbite. Obviously veneers don't fix the overbite, but how does the dentist fix the appearance? Thanks!

It is in my back left of mouth, past where the wisdome teeth WERE, pretty much a the back of the mouth. It has been 10 years since wisdom teeth pulled, so that's not an issue. It is almost like there is a sore somewhere in there but I can't find it. It hurts to open the mouth really wide. (The sore feeling is like that when you yawn big with a sore throat and the stretching hurts.)

Advil helps to dull the pain, but it can make eating uncomfortable. Hurts to press on the spot.

No dental work done within the last year.

Any thoughts?

I make roughly a little less than $800 a month. I don't have health insurance either. I would like to know what insurance providers have worked for you. Or if you might have heard of some good ones.

I have problems irrigating the two wisdom teeth holes on the bottom of my mouth, and they both got infected. Is there any way to prevent them getting infected again after the cotton packing is removed from the flushed wounds?
Also, would avoiding having particles of food get stuck inside the holes by staying on a liquid/yogurt diet help prevent infection?
Thanks in advance!

I'm having my wisdom teeth pulled out because the dentist says I need to. Should I get them all pulled out at once or should I do 2 at a time? I know it varies from people to people but how much pain will i be in. I remember my sister had all 4 pulled out at the same time and I don't remember her being in much pain at all.

Hey, just wonderin if you could help me out. I seeked out getting braces thinking I would need to wear them for a max of 6 months (which I dont mind). Turns out I will need to wear them for 2 yrs! Im almost 18 so they will be off when Im almost 20.
If im honest I would say it was purely cosmetic, my teeth arent really that bad. Do I get them done now and live a bit self-conscious for 2 yrs (for the best part of which I will be at uni! :( ) or do you think in the long run it wont be worth it since they arent that bad? I no this once in a life time oppurtunity since free health care runs out at 18, so do I do it?
Also... to help me feel a bit better id really like white braces. My family wouldnt be able to afford much but I know my mum would try and make me happy if she could. How much are they? Is there any chance I can maybe get the top front 4 teeth in white? Sounds silly but it would make me feel better.
Oh one last thing... are there any other options? eg removable??
thanks! xx

Some year down the line (when I can afford it) I might get veneers to cover up mild orthodontic problems. My question is, do you have do get veneers on every single tooth or on just the ones that you see when you speak or smile? I know they are about $1000 per veneer so I was wondering. Thanks for the help!

I know that a "blood clot" is supposed to form and it has...It seemed like it was healing pretty well untill like 3 hours ago. It started bleeding again and the blood clot feels like it is dropping out. I can feel it. It is like hanging down. anyone know why??

My dentist insists I get an implant to replace a missing molar even though it's expensive, I have other debts to pay off, I have car payments, I'm in my mid fifties and nearly of age for a rocking chair, and it's in the back where nobody would see it. He won't listen to my refusal. Should I get one to keep the peace with him, or should I look for a dentist who listens to his patients?
