A tooth in the upper back has broken apart and not much is left of it. Maybe a quarter of it and the center is gone---just a hole.

Can it be fixed or should it be pulled and how much money will this run? I do not have insurance.

over 4 years ago i got a root canal on my front tooth after i hit it from falling off a bike. Today i woke up and for the first time since i got it done the tooth was killing me. The tooth has been a strange color for a while, which my dentist told me i could bleach. Today i am in pain and the tooth is looser than all of my other teeth. what could be the problem?

And why isn't it called 'teethpaste'? Did the inventor of toothpaste have only one chopper? LOL.

Does anyone have a bridge on teeth that are visible when you smile and if so do you like it and is it obvious that it is a bridge? Can you floss?

hi everyone, I have crooked teeth - a very small jaw which means I have crowding in my lower jaw and only slightly crooked teeth in my upper jaw. Do you know what my options are (braces of different types) and what it might cost? I am living abroad just now but will be back home in London soon, they mentioned that instead of straightening the bottom teeth they could file down the middle tooth which pops up in the middle of the bottom jaw. Is that an option? any ideas of the costs involved? thanks so much - they are getting more crooked with age ...

they said it would be $240 dollars that sounded high to me. Is that a normal price for this?

It's been about 10 years since I've had work done, and my teeth and gums are in bad shape. But I can't find a dentist that doesn't act all judgemental when examining me, and make me feel like some sort of worm for letting my teeth get so bad. I don't even mind the actual work geting done, if they use a sedative and proper anesthesia, but their "Tsk, tsk" attitude prevents me from even scheduling an appointment, causing my teeth to get even worse. It's a vicious circle! Why do dentists have to have the attitude?

I have found that it doesn't seem to mater how often i go to the dentist, once every 6months or once every 6 years, and it doesn't mater how much i brush and floss, I always get one cavity per dentist visit.

i swear the surest way to reduce cavities is not to visit a dentist to often.

I suspect the dentists al lying to me, and they just know I'll accept one cavity per visit as normal.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Obviously, the plus point about this is you won't feel anything (at least at the time) But what are the complications of getting put to sleep while having a tooth removed?

My dentist is recommending them because I have bad overcrowding and I want to avoid worse teeth problems in the future. Those of you who have had braces, any advice? A friend told me she didn't have teeth problems until she got braces, but my husband has nothing bad to say about his experience with braces. Help!!

I'm experiencing quite an awful pain in a back tooth. You know the pain you get if you have a piece of paper (where one side of it is foil) stuck in your tooth and you touch it with a fork. Sounds odd but sometimes It happens accidentally when eating fruit pastilles. The pain occurs when something touches it when eating or drinking etc. I have a dentist appointment soon. Anyone have any ideas what it could be so I can prepare for it I hate going to the dentist!
