Will that hole go away? I've never had a tooth pulled in my life. I blame it on the cheap Toothpaste.

The website doesn't offer pricing and the 1-800 number refuses to give info about that. You have to wait until your consult with the dentist to see how much it costs. I just want a general figure and I want to know if they are worth getting.

Just curious as to the possible scientific explanation why. It seems strange to me that it would hurt in the first place.

I went out of network to a doctor, so my insurance only covered 70% of the cost. Is there a way I can get my doctor to reduce the portion of the bill I owe him?

In my childhood I had bad problems with my gums, and used to be dreading going to the dentist even if it was months to go untill I actually went. It ruined my childhood basically. But I never told anyone. Anyway, I brushed religiously and got them sorted out. But I now have 1 or 2 teeth with slight gingivitis, its not major, just slightly red. I can even diagnose myself, because I went that many times when I was younger. Anyway, long story short, im going to the dentist tomorrow and absolutley petrified. Even though I know my gums are in good health except a few, im still scared to death. I swear, I start hyperventilating in the car.

Anyone know how to calm myself down?

Yesterday I had my root canal tooth crowned. It fit fine...even with some space underneath it. I woke up this morning and the crown was too high. I don't understand why this would happen. It makes me think there is swelling occurring underneath. Could a professional please advise??? Thank you.

I got 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Friday... and I've been rinsing with salt water after every meal... but there is a absolutely HORRIBLE taste and smell coming from back there now... and I can't stand it. I try to stay as far away from people as possible while talking to them, I am SO self-conscious about it... I can't brush the surgical sites for 7 days... I NEED something to help with the bad breath, it's the worst!!! What can I do?

And how long did your treatment take (or is expected to take).

How long did it take before you noticed your first significant improvement in your smile?

My dentist says that I need to wear a Night Guard due to clenching at night. I am currently going through a ton of dental procedures to remedy something that the clenching caused. My dentist said that the Guard would cost me about $450 as insurance doesn't cover it. I don't want to spend that amount if I don't have to as there are Night Guards available at the local drug store for $20.

Has anyone had experience with this company? The information so far is very negitave, bordering on fraud and misrepresentation. I would like to publish a ballanced article, so any replies would be helpful, good or bad.

My mom and I constantly have this argument over wether i should brush my teeth again or just chew gum. I say that if i chew a piece of gum my bad breath will go away but she says that i dosent kill the germs that cause bad breath. Is that true? Also is gum as good as brushing teeth?

I am missing one tooth (save for some fragments in the gum) on my upper left hand side and missing the entire top half of my tooth on the bottom right side. Both are molers. Also, my front 6~ish teeth are chipping away starting at the gums. At the moment, I believe my bottom right moler is abcess. I also have no enamel. I was wondering if anyone knew what sort of work would have to be done to fix my teeth and how much it would cost. I have no insurance or anything of that sort. Also wondering if anyone knows of any services unemployed people can get to assist with the cost of dental work. Thanks to all who read this and help.
