I am missing one tooth (save for some fragments in the gum) on my upper left hand side and missing the entire top half of my tooth on the bottom right side. Both are molers. Also, my front 6~ish teeth are chipping away starting at the gums. At the moment, I believe my bottom right moler is abcess. I also have no enamel. I was wondering if anyone knew what sort of work would have to be done to fix my teeth and how much it would cost. I have no insurance or anything of that sort. Also wondering if anyone knows of any services unemployed people can get to assist with the cost of dental work. Thanks to all who read this and help.

I was born w/o enamel and had very selfish, foolsih, and greedy parents/ That's how this much damage was done in so little time.

If your teeth are already broken, they're probably really sensitive. If this is the case then they need root canals (not as scary as it sounds). If you want to 'save' the rest of your teeth then porcelain verniers will probably be your best option. Both procedures can be expensive! Talk with the dental offices in your area. They may be able to point you in the right direction for low-cost insurance or other types of assistance. Good luck!

I cannot even conceive how, at 18, you have done so much damage to your teeth.??

Each of those broken teeth will need a crown, not necessarily a root canal. In my area in Florida the price is about $750.00 per tooth. I have 12 crowns so I speak from experience.

Something that can help with the health of your gums and make your mouth feel better is to swish 2 or 3 times a day with Hydrogen Peroxide. It will heal your gums and kills any pain.
You get it at the Drug Store, usually by the alcohol on a bottom shelf. It is quite inexpensive.

First I would start using the Peroxide to improve your mouth health, then get a job so you have a way to pay a dentist. I will tell you that dental insurance pays very little toward crowns.

Call around to your county departments and find out if you can get any help. Many Dentists will take payments. Try, after you get your job, having one tooth at a time repaired. That was how I did mine.

Good Luck.
