Dental - January 2007

Looks and feels like my teeth's enamel is getting eatin away..
this is my front teeth, i have healthy diet and calcium intake.

is there something to eat to make the teeth surface smooth again ? its kinder rocky... everything is healthy part from that..

Its the front tooth and it is really taking away from me. HELP ME PLEASE.....I need this done before im 60 yrs old and cheaper then dirt. A FRONT TOOTH is a very terrible thing to be broke.

about 3 years ago I had a root canal done on one of my bottom back teeth. Just today I started to get a horrible tooth ache...from what seems to be that same tooth..how is that even possible as the roots should all be gone? I am a poor student and have no money for a dentist right now...anyone have an idea of how to help kill the pain of a tooth ache? thanks

When I was in highschool i had the prettiest smile, but now that I'm 25 I'm starting to see that I'm getting lil gaps in between my teeths, so I don't like to smile as much anymore! And no I have not been keeping up to go see the dentist, is what I should have done! But do I need braces???

I have Ankylaglossia ( Tounge-tie ) i have had it since i was born. It was inherited by my Father so i have to have surgery to have it clipped. Has anyone had the surgery before what are the side effects after surgery? PLEASE HELP I"M SCARED

sometime when i wake up, in the middle of the day it cracks everyday and now i see it as a norm. but sometimes the cracks get so loud people next to me hear it and ask if im ok. sometimes it feels stiff before and after the crack. what is it?

I have heard porcelain veneers generally cost about $1,000 per tooth. Is this true? Is a (monthly) payment plan available? I am interested in getting my top 6 and lower 6 done (12 total). I have healthy teeth but are naturally yellow (inherited by my father). Also, I live in Indiana and am trying to find the best Dr. to do this. Any information/cost would be great! Thanks.

My daughter is almost 10 & she has a very bad over bite with a pretty large gap between her top front teeth. Is she to young for braces? I don't want her to have braces when she is older if it can effecively be done now.

I had 2 molars (1 upper and 1 lower) on the right side extracted yesterday. I believe I am developing an infection. The blood clot covering the hole left by the extraction had a white spot about the size of a grain of rice alog the outter edge of the clot. No I haven't been eating rice for all of the smart alecs that were going to say that. I am on Amoxicillin 500mg every 6 hours given to me by the dentist last night after the proceedure. I have only taken 4 doses so far. If I continue to take it will this take care of the infection or should I call and be put on something else?

I have the worst case of Neuralgia, and I've never felt pain like it before in my life... I can't even sleep with it.. I've taken 2 paracetemol and an Ibuprofen. Is there anything else that can help to relieve my pain? Bearing in mind is 2.30 in the morning and the shops and chemists are still closed!

My teeth are yellow due to when i was young i took an excessive amounts of different medicines to cure my sicknesses and so it made my teeth yellow, what can i do to make it LESS yellow ( i know i cant make it white unless i bleach it )

is there anything i can do to make it LESS yellow for life? unlike those white strips which only last about a year or less
