Not at all. If you take care of your crowns they should last you a life time. They are your natural teeth with the roots still intact, they're just missing the enamel and have a cover or crown on them. The main thing you should do is keep up with your cleanings, x rays and your home care as well should be excellent. Most problems with crowns are due to decay developing around the margins of the crown or below the gum line. This is due to not flossing regularly. So if you want to keep your crowns for ever just brush and floss and see your dentist regularly. Hope I've been of some help to you.

Not really. But it will all depend on when did you get them and under what conditions and reasons (cracks, abscess, root canals, etc) and finally what is the current situation before any realistic answer would be possible.

Not if you take care of the teeth you have and see the dentist routinely for checkups and cleaning.

RICHARD,
PARTIAL DENTURES CAN BE MADE TO FIT AROUND THOSE CROWNS.
MY RECOMMENDATION IS VALPLAST PARTIALS.
IF YOU TAKE PROPER CARE OF YOUR CROWNS THEY CAN LAST YOU FOR A LIFETIME.
