HELLO SWEETIE,
THE BABY TEETH (DECIDUOUS) TEETH USUALLY BEGIN TO FALL OUT AT 6. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. YOU CAN GO + OR - SIX MONTHS EITHER WAY.
REST ASSURED YOUR BOY WILL GET HIS ADULT TEETH!

The central incisors come out between the ages of 6 and 7. So it could be any time soon, or a year from now.

http://www.sdcoe.k12.ca.us/smiles/fallout.pdf is a great explanation about losing baby teeth.

http://www.drspock.com/article/0,1510,5398,00.html talks about baby teeth in general.

Your son is a little behind the average, but no more than one standard deviation, which means you should not worry about it at this point.

How do you know I'm not a dentist? All of us could be dentists. A mother could possibly answer this question just as well.

I didn't lose a tooth until I was 8. But, I'm not a dentist so I wouldn't know any better.
