What's the cause of mouth ulcers besides biting? And I realised that sleeping late causes me to have ulcers.

i have read/heard about people using baking soda to brush their teeth to get them white.
what do you do? like do you have to mix the baking soda up with water or just put some onto the toothbrush and start brushing??
can you swallow?
also how long will it approx. take to see results??

It's only five years old. I might floss it too much, but when I floss it snags on the back of the veneer. Anyway, I moved away from the dentist that placed it... Can a dentist grind the jagged (sharp) part to smooth the back without damaging the porcelain veneer and its bond? The jagged edge is on the back part of the veneer. I'm afraid it will lose its stability. And is this a bad sign for a porcelain veneer? Thanks.

I've had my tooth extracted in august of 2006 and I am still trying to scavenge for money before I get my implants. I understand that the roots start to shift if there's a missing tooth. How much longer can I wait before that starts to happen? Thanks!

My five year old has a complete set of 20 teeth, including her two sets of molars, and she has swollen gums behind her molars and it appears to be a tooth coming in. You can feel the tooth. I have researched the topic but nothing states that a five year old can have a wisdom tooth coming in. I am going to contact our dentist but I would sure appreciate your input on our problem.

Everyone i've talked to says theres nothing to be worried about because first of all your put to sleep so its not like you feel anything. And, im not so worried about the pain afterwords. My brother had his out about 4 months ago and was home within 45 minutes. I don't know what im so scared of, I guess i just want some feel good comments haha. Please if you've had yours out, leave some words of kindness haha.

Not really a question, but there are a lot of questiopns on this and I thought I could help. I found this website where you can choose color combinatins and veiw them on a picture of teeth.

http://www.pbhs.com/ortho/braces/braces.html

This is great if you can't decide what colors to choose.
