Hey sweetie! I work for a dentist so let me tell you that there are a lot of people keeping an eye on you while you get your wisdom teeth taken out...nobody is going to let anything bad happen to you. And the best part is that you get to sleep through the whole thing! I didn't hurt afterwords, they gave me pain medication but I didn't have to use it. The only problem that I had was that I swelled up a lot. Get ice for the swelling, lots of soft things to eat that you don't have to open big for, good movies to watch, and someone to baby you! You're the baby for a couple of days. Good luck!

You will be fine! A few tips can help though - 1. so make sure you ice your neck as that will help the swelling 2. don't smoke, drink from a straw, or drink soda as that can keep the clot from forming and cause dry socket (really bad!) 3. don't eat overly hot or cold foods for same reason as #2 4. Take pain meds as needed to keep on top of any discomfort 5. just relax for a few days and catch up on t.v. Follow the rules and you will be fine! Good luck!

I hate the dentist so much I get nauseous just bringing someone for their appointment, but I can honestly say the sedation they used worked awesome.....it was kinda like I was sitting inn the chair and they where working on my mouth in another part of the room. For the after pain take the medicine before the numbness is gone and continue taking on a regular schedule before the pain starts....ice packs work well also. Have some ready so that you can help prevent as much swelling as you can. Good luck!!

The bottom two will be a little worse than the top two. If you're in pain now you'll not feel worse after. I got mine out, with some deep and twisted roots, with only novicane injections (two at a time.) You'll be fine. Make sure you do the salt water gargle they tell you to and what ever else they say because you definitely want the incisions to heal properly.

Hi, ive had mone out and there was no problems at all! to be honest it was sore for a few hours afterwards but the pain subsides quite quickley (in my experience anyway).
It was well worth it for me cos the pain after getting them taken out was nothing compared to the pain that i had when they were in!!!
Ive never had a toothache since and tha was about 2 years ago!!!
Nothing to worry about doll! Good Luck!

do no longer devour in the previous useless night of the operation. They in all likelihood gave you some pills to take previous to the surgical procedure. Take them about a million-a million.5 hours in the previous the annointed time. once you get domicile positioned ice packs on and rotate them each and every 20 minutes. also take a soreness pill in the previous the anesthetic wears off. repeat each and every 4=5 hours.
