They deserve to have clean teeth also. I don't think toothpaste would have sugar. The toothpaste suppose to clean your teeth from the residue of sugar and bacteria. Perhaps it is like a food for them.

maybe you need to spray bug killer around the bathroom there is probably something in the toothpaste that attracts the ants that or maybe the ants are trying to prevent from getting cavities themselves
