ever since i took my braces off and got my retainers which was about 3 weeks ago..my teeeth look to have shifted back a little to wear they orginally were...well i have to pay for braces to be put back on or are their special retainers for cheaper or maybe free of charge that will help shift the teeth back to a straighter smile...it was nice when i first took off my braces but now its car wreck...literally!

You need to see your orthodontist immediately. The teeth shouldn't have shifted that much even if you weren't wearing your retainer. Go back so he can see, there should be no charge for movement this fast. Good luck and I hope I've been of some help.

Ask your orthodontist! Tell him what the problem is immediately. There are definitely things that can be corrected with retainers. A good retainer does just that - retains. It could be that the retainer was poorly made, it could be that your orthodontist isn't having you wear it enough, or it could be that your teeth are bound and determined to move. But retainers can correct a lot of that. Ask about it as soon as you can. Good luck!

they shouldn't have shifted in just 3 weeks..get back to your orthodontist!
