I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago. My lower right side of lip is still numb. The wisdom tooth was impacted, it was a difficult extraction. Anyone else numb for a long period of time???

I had my wisdom teeth pulled about 4 months ago, and I was told that my teeth will need to adjust to the room they now have. Meaning they are expanding so that each tooth has a nice amount of space between them without being crammed together. But I have a sinus infection now, and I'm wondering if it's just sinus pressure that's making my teeth hurt, (just on my right side)

Thanks for your responses! ^_^

I am getting on braces in about a month, and spacers put on in about 3 weeks. First of all, what are spacers? Do they hurt and can you still eat, brush your teeth, etc.? Thanks

I had my wisdom tooth pulled on Tuesday because it was infected. I was given a perscription that I couldn't take and I talked him into giving me a different antibiotic. I am three days now on that and everything seems normal except for where the tooth was pulled. Nothing hurts and the clot is gone and everything seems to be healing except there are white pockets on the gum. I know when I had my abscess it was very painful and swollen red with nasty tasting puss. Is the antibiotic working and the infection is going away? I lost my dentist over the dispute with the antibiotics but I know my body better than him. I just want to know if i should be worried. I am eating on that side and all is well but i don't want it to get any worse like it was before. I have 3 days left on the antibiotics. What should I be expecting?

For a little while, my right side of my jaw as been cracking. I've gone to the doctor, but they didn't help. I went to the dentist but they told me to stop cracking it. It's something I do on my own but often I don't notice I'm doing it until it starts to hurt. I mostly do it when I'm bored or even stressed at work.
I'm pretty sure I don't grind my teeth in my sleep, cuz my teeth don't hurt and are in good shape. I've thought about a type of mouth gaurd but I'm not sure if this will work.
Any advice would helpful.

I have something installed behind my front teeth, and it prevents me from chewing food. When I chew, no matter what food, as long as it's solid, gets stuck in the device. What are some good foods to keep me full and healthy while I wear this device?

I have bare brackets. I had a rubber chain on my braces. I pull it off all the time at school but the back hooks never came off and I would just put them back on when I got home. Well, I was sitting in Drivers Ed on Thursday and the teacher puts in this boringass DVD so I sit back and pull out my rubberbraces and now they're busted. I pulled out the wire last night. What will happen to my teeth? How much longer will I have to have braces?

I have always been afraid of the dentist so i don't go. Now my teeth look so bad that I never smile. So does it hurt to get fillings. I also have cavities forming on my front teeth so how could they fill those? Would I have to get veneers in the front?
