Didn't you start drinking beer before you went to get the tooth pulled? Why stop now? Seriously, if your taking pain medication be careful, do one or the other, but not both. And if your taking antibiotics, they're about useless ingested with a beer chaser. Wait until the clot has formed before you pop the top and don't swish it in your mouth or let it sit bubbling where the clot is at! You are taking a chance of dry socket, so you've been fair warned! You aren't the only one who's done it though. I've seen some patients later in the day at the local pub. Good luck!
