Didn't you start drinking beer before you went to get the tooth pulled? Why stop now? Seriously, if your taking pain medication be careful, do one or the other, but not both. And if your taking antibiotics, they're about useless ingested with a beer chaser. Wait until the clot has formed before you pop the top and don't swish it in your mouth or let it sit bubbling where the clot is at! You are taking a chance of dry socket, so you've been fair warned! You aren't the only one who's done it though. I've seen some patients later in the day at the local pub. Good luck!

properly i am going to bypass the lecture because you're of direction already doing it besides. when you're 16 and weigh one hundred and sixty lbs, you ought to be fantastic with some (3) beers if finished through 6 and utilising at 9. a good rule of thumb is provide your self 40 5 minutes to drink a beer and a pitcher of water, this kind you're helping to flush the alcholol out of your equipment. There regrettably is not any "Golden Rule" to it, it is about being mature sufficient to understand even as to end and understanding the outcomes of your movements.

You should stay away from anything carbonated or beer for 24-48 hrs. With beer it could cause a yeast infection so I would wait atleast 48 or more hrs after

You really should wait til you leave the dentists office, but if you can't wait that Long, then wait for the dentist to remove his tools and his fingers.

Most dentists don't want you drinking in their lobby, so you'll have to wait until you're in the parking lot.
