Like Scope and stuff, but if I brush my teeth after using mouthwash, wouldn't I wash away the mouthwash, plus do I rinse my mouth with water after brushing my teeth or just spit out the residue??

rebuilt is 3-4 visits, expensive any 80% success rate. pulled out means big gap at back of mouth! no wisdom coming through to replace it.

When my boyfriend brushes his teeth, his gums bleed everytime. He doesnt brush them harshly, but he tries to avoid brushing them as it bleeds. What could this be? Is he lacking some certain vitamins? By the way he absolutely hates fruit and veg! he only likes green beans from a tin, not frozen, and take multi vitamin tablet everyday to get the vitamins in him. Its kind of a losing battle.

I removed my braces two years ago. I was really excited about my teeth but was cautious about it turning yellow if I don't clean it well. I sub-consciously brushed my teeth too hard. As a result, my gum start to move upwards and there are significant 'holes' at the gum area between my teeth especially the top front teeth. My teeth also appear 'bigger' now as compared to after the removal of my braces because of the residing gum condition. It was too late when I realized my condition and I totally regret it. In fact, I got so upset that I could not sleep or concentrate on my work, and I am now suffering from insonmia.

Can anyone share with me if you have the same problem before? Can anyone advise me on what I should do to 'rescue' my teeth? Can wearing braces again help to pull the teeth inward so that the 'holes' between my teeth look less obvious, and that the teeth will look 'smaller' as what was before? Please help me.

Yeah, umm ... NOW the Dr. decides he wants to pull a wisdom tooth and another to boot - I have NEVER had a tooth pulled. I know they will numb it up during - but what kind of pain am I looking at post-pulling? Do they give you meds to help your gimpy head out?

Mum says i used to grind my teeth when i was little, could it be that or is it the first signs of my wisdom teeth?

Ive been plagued by Canker sores for years of my life. At times Ill have as many as 5 in my mouth, some reaching several centimetres in diameter.
Ive tried Ora-gel, L-Lysine, Aloe, Hydrogen Peroxide, teetree oil(not sure of spelling).
My most successful method, is putting mouthwash (not an alcohol free kind) and letting it sit on the canker sore for 30 seconds, while gently rubbing it with my tongue. It hurts like *cough* but the white stuff goes away and it is numbed. Still sticks around for a week or so, and the whole painful process needs to be repeated several times a day to keep from hurting.

My question is, does anybody have a better remedy, or any other cures they have had success with, Id try almost anything by now lol.

Okay..so im guilty...i love to drink coffee, tea, and dark sodas....

from that..i have stained teeth.

on the MSN homepage...they were mentioning something about teeth whitening...and i read the article and it said that Peroxide is what is used to whiten teeth !

So my question is...
Could I use regular peroxide on my toothbrush or something? Or do I have to dilute it...and if I do...how much?
What are the negative effects of using perioxide....because they did say that it DOES NOT cause tooth enamel decay...so...what could be wrong with it?

So i had my bottom two wisdom teeth extracted 2 weeks ago, and feel like one side has healed back to normal. The right side however seems to have a gap between the tooth and gums; that is, my gums are loose and flappy around my molars, when they should be tight up against my teeth... Is this normal? and What should I do to keep keep my gums intact? Has this happened to anyone before?

Is there anything I have to be aware of? I'm doing the general anethesia. Is there anyway I can be prepared to the things before and after? What does it feel like once you are awake and ready to go home? Do you feel dizzy? Do you think I can do anything tomorrow but maybe awake a few times after I come home from surgery since chances are I'll probably be taking a LONG nap. Do the needle hurt. I'm just wondering, but do you think that general anethesia is better or IV sedation? I don't have much confidence because out of all of my friends only one has had their wisdom teeth removed. I'm only 13 (remember)...
