The other night and last night the back of my jaw bone, where they meet is in extreme pain, i can't move my bottom jaw to the left or down and it hurts to talk, it's only on the right side and hurts on the bottom jaw bone the most. Mum says i used to grind my teeth when i was little, could it be that or is it the first signs of my wisdom teeth?

You have TMJ disease.
TemporoMandibular Joint disease.
Your dentist or your family doc can treat you...a dentist is best though.

Insurance pays for it usually. It involves doing tomographic xrays, and building a "night guard"...kind of like a retainer that you wear at night or even in the daytime if your bite is way off.

Good luck. It'll make you feel much better to get treated.

Your dentist can help you with those wisdom teeth too.

Bone cancer is most likely the cause of this pain given the sudden onset and you lack of knowledge as to what may have caused it . You did not give an 8 hour speech or chew ten pieces of gum all at the same time did you . So with no direct cause as to the pain the only thing left is bone cancer of the lower jaw . Sorry I understand it only gets worse for you till it must be removed . Infection will begin to affect the surrounding tissue as pockets of puss build up as the bone deteriorates . Fever and lethargy typically accompany this kind of cancer .

Maybe your mom is punching you in your sleep, using the whole teeth grinding bit to throw you off??? I grind my teeth, have my whole life, and it damn well makes your jaw hurt. Wisdom teeth hurt like hell too. I suggest an x-ray, then you'll know for sure. And stop grinding your teeth that really messes your jaw up.

Try buying a mouth piece. Similar to what athletes use in sports. Wear it to bed and see how your jaw feels in the morning. Sould help with the teeth grinding, if thats what it is. And save you hundreds in $$$$$$

properly may well be a number of issues, although, looks like a classic case of you grinding your tooth by the night. some ppl the two grind their tooth or bite/bite down difficult by the night of their sleep to that end inflicting mysterious soreness whilst they wakeful. If its no longer that then maybe its early signs and indications of TMJ!! supply it a lil bit longer if the subject persists then needless to say pass to your dentist and discover out what's up!! GL to ya
