i was ment to have 2 teeth out a few months ago and couldnt as i have a massive fear of needles and they wanted me to be awake for it. this was for my orthadontist. last week i went tio my normal dentist and he says he wants me to have another tooth out but i will be knocked out and i am fine with this as this is what i wanted in the 1st place do you think when they knock me out that they could take the other teeth out at the same time or not?

Hi,
I stayed over my sisters the other night (not planning to) and hadnt packed anything..
I ended up staying again the next night as well, then one more.
i didnt brush my teeth for these 3 days..
Today i am back at home and i brushed my teeth and gums and my tongue really well this morning , and i noticed a hell of alot of blood on the toothbrush and a weird feeling in my mouth, i then notice stringy bits of loose skin on my gums
when i feel around my gums with my tongue i can feel where the skin is missing.

do i have gingivitis?

I need them removed because the teeth are forming 90 degrees angle. The dentist said I will need to go to the specialist to get them extracted. However he's done an emergency surgical to help me with the gum infections ( which is really bad) I need stiches, and have to take antibiotik and have to pay $500, also need to come back again next week to remove the stiches.

my question is how much to have your wisdom tooth removed? and cant you do it in regular dentist? if not, where is the best place to go to in sydney? (preferrable affordable).

many thanks... ! :)

I don;t have any antibiotics I cant get into dentist for a month and I would be a new patient so just getting a amoxicillian prescription is not an option. regular doctor has two week wait period because of cold and flu season. I need a natural remedy to fix a broken molar that has abscessed. I am getting chest pain and I think it may be tied to this tooth that broke and is now absessed (I have mitral valve prolapse so I am one of those people who has to premedicate before any dental or surgical procedure with antobiotics) Any advice?

My tooth was repositioned, and due to blood and swelling of the impact the dr. said he couldn't push the tooth completely in or there was a chance of infection. So my tooth is a bit longer than the other front tooth and will be evened out in about two months. I have to let it heal more, but I was wondering how much of a tooth can be grinded down? I'm worried they wont be able to even it completely down to make it look even with the rest of the teeth. I say its longer by a 16th of an inch or so on one said, and the other side (not against the other front tooth) looks a bit longer but I think its because it went in crooked. Maybe an 8th of an inch, not sure. So how much is safe to grind down?

Does anyone have a strange tingly almost pins and needles type feeling in the lower gum line and teeth?

It feels like my teeth might fall out at any second. It is really uncomfortable and I have no sensation of chewing or anything in that area or even when I touch the gums or teeth I cannot feel it.

It occurs with other symptoms I have a tingly numb waxy left arm and hand right now and its not working properly like a carpal tunnel and reynauds cross but not really fitting either well.

It is really bothering me today and I thought I would get an opinion on if this happens to others also.

I am also seeign a neurologist to rule out demyelinating disease in case that has anythign to do with it, not sure?

Advice for a faster recovery? It will be inpatient surgery and I'll be in the hospital for only one night. Do you have any tips for bouncing back quickly and minimizing bruising?
Thanks:)

I'm only 18 years old and all that I think about day and night is the thought of losing my teeth. I noticed that they move very slightly when I apply pressure but i've heard that all teeth have a little movement. I was at the dentist recently and he said my gums are inflamed so I guess it means I have gingivitis. He took x-rays and examined them and didn't say I had anything serious or that my teeth are loose. Yet I constantly worry about it, probably bc i didnt take good care of my teeth when I was younger. If I go to the dentist every 6 months and brush/floss and eat well, will I be able to keep all of my teeth. I'm so worried bc im gonna be in college next year and I dont want to be rejected by girls just because im missing my teeth. Are my worries legitimate or am I worried too much. Its always in the back of my mind. I feel like my future is tainted and that I wont be able to enjoy life because of my teeth.

Last night I asked my brother if he chews with his right or left, his answer was Rt. He took a piece of chicken and started chewing with his Lf.
Are you aware with what side you chew with?

I am 21 and I just recently had my baby tooth removed because my adult tooth was growing behind it so I has to now be pulled forward to fill in the gap from my baby tooth. What is the quickest way to correct my teeth and remove this ugly gap??? I HATE the idea of braces and was looking into invisailgn. Is this even an option for my situation?

Over the last couple of years I have a spot on my lower jaw on the left side that becomes tender to the touch. It will last usually a day or two and then go away. I've been to the dentist regularly but have forgotten to ask this question because it is usually not bothering me at the time of my appointments. My teeth are very heathy. I had two small cavities while I was in my 20's and had my wisdom teeth removed. But other than that I haven't had any trouble with my teeth. If you know what could be causing this problem I'm having please let me know. It's driving me crazy! :) Thanks!

I have a friend, i know for a fact that she brushes her teeth very well about 8 minutes every morning, top row, bottom row, front, tongue, just sometimes longer than 8 minutes, and she has fine breath for about 2 minutes, and it's GONE! she doesn't skip on brushing, she doesn't eat different food than everybody else, she just doens't know what's wrong, she's tried prescription toothpastes, tongue scrapers, mouth wash, everything, nothing works, and it's very embarassing for her, i just want to help her out, so if you have any tips, please let me know so i can pass on the info.....thanks!
