have a infection in my eye tooth?

my eye is almost swelled shut started antibiotics yesterday and i need to know if i should use cold compresses for the swelling or hot compresses for the the infection

Hi .. a cold compress, it'll help with swelling.. antibiotics will eradicate infection..a hot compress wouldn't help infection anyway.

Rinse regularly with warm water and salt, making sure to spit it out of course.

Try a cold compress for the swelling if the dentist says it's ok.
