I have a question. I don't know much about this topic so please bear with me. I had a consultation with an oral surgeon who told me my wisdom teeth needed to come out (after an x-ray and looking in my mouth). He mentioned nothing of them being impacted. However, I look in the mirror and don't actually see them. This means they haven't come in, I guess? Do they take your wisdom teeth out even though they haven't come in? The oral surgeon told me that they have to come out because they will eventually push on my other teeth. However, I don't see them in my mouth! So, if someone could tell me if they take them out if they haven't come in, that would be great. I keep thinking he made a mistake - but then again, i'm not educated in the field of dentistry! :) Thank you for your help!
