I have pads of butter in my mouth. What's an effective product to make my teeth shine? Are there any side-effects/dangerous happenings that can come from using something to whiten teeth?

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural
tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries
but certain precautions have to be taken.
I found the information at

I have never used a tooth whitening product myself but saw a news program where they tested those home whitening products and the consensus was that they don't really lighten the teeth by much. I saw oprah when she had dr. oz on and an audience member asked about using one which she used every day and the dr. said that that was a bad idea and that the teeth can become very thin and green. How about saving up your money and getting the zoom bleaching by a licensed dentist. Tooth sensitivity is supposed to be a possible side effect of any type of tooth bleaching/whitening product.

you can change your current toothpaste, but it's not enough, along with that you should use a good quality mouth wash that can kill the germs. There is no side effect of using anything to whiten your teeth, if that is of good quality.you can get more information on the following link:

I recently asked my dentist if over-the-counter whiteners would harm my teeth. He said that crest whitestrips were safest to use. I tried them and they do whiten a few shades . Will definately use them next time I need to whiten again.

I use that Colgate Whitening Rinse, and it works really well. As for side affects, I dont think there are any unless you swallow some, which I wouldn't recommend doing.. :-)
