What are some things I can try to help with the pain. I have a broken molar and I am already taking Vikodin ES and they just are not helping?

Currently I have to wait at least 7 months to see an NHS oral surgeon in my area, South Wales, to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed. How can I speed up this process, without going private?

Does it work ontop of skin as well as it does on the gums?

I've been getting crazy mosquito bites that itch so bad I can't sleep.

Stupid skin cremes and anti-itch creams barely do the job. Hydrocortizone barely does anything.

The thought occured to me, why don't anti-itch cremes use numbing agents instead, that would work so much better??

So now, I'm thinking I should just go over and get me some of that topical anesthetic that dentals swab onto their patients gums, and just swab that stuff ontop of my mosquito bites.

So where can I get that?

My dentist said that sleeping with my mouth open is bad for my gums? What can I do about this? Is there some kind of protection I should where in my mouth?

I heard that if you get pregnant while you are wearing braces it will mess up your teeth and you will have to wear them for a couple of extra years. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

ok, i got a tooth pulled on tuesday of this week, it was on the bottom far back. it's been hurting verrrrrry badly, so i went back thursday, he said it looked fine, cleaned it and told me i 'shouldn't be in that much pain anymore.' WRONG! it hurts and makes my ear and head hurt! now it's not INTOLERABLE, but highly uncomfy! it's bad enough to where ibuprofen won't knock it out! about 45 mins ago i rinsed my mouth with warm water and salt, that was extremely painful! it felt like my whole head was going to explode.. now i know with dry socket, there should be no blood clot and you should see pail white where the bone is showing, but it looks normal i guess.. any other problems it could be??! please help!

I bought Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus. The directions say "It is best if you do not brush your teeth immediately before applying strips".

How long after I brush should I wait before I use the strips?

I'm in the process of improving my entire life. I can't afford veneers, and other expensive dental work, and I don't qualify for invisible braces, so I plan to pay monthly on metal braces in the future when I'm in a better position financially. I know there are adults who wear braces, but I personally have not seen any over the age of 35. How many of you are over 35 with metal braces? How difficult was it to wear them? How long did you wear them based on the condition of your teeth? If I qualified for invisible braces, it wouldn't be an issue, but since metal braces are so obvious and usually for children, I'm a little concerned. What I want is more important than what others think, but I can't help but feel the minute I open my mouth with metal braces people will think "this person is too old for braces". LOL

how do i change my voice? i absolutly HATE it. I can hit a note really well when karaoke-ing but i just HATE HATE HATE that everytime i start out a sentence im all nasally and crap. how do i change that? also- whenever I'm at all worried about how people see me, my voise suddenly gets deeper and then its just WEIRD. what do i do?

BTW im getting braces in lyk december will that change how I speak at all?
