iam been taking antibiotics for a mouth now for a abscess thats on my gum i just notice that it said to start 5 days prior to procedure i don't know way i did not see it
will this hurt me in anyway before are after are during the peocedure i will be put to sleep do i need to tell the oral surgeon about this

I got three fillings put in -- 1 that white, tooth-like kinda (porcelain?), 2 whatever type of metal they use -- and around that same time as I got the first metal one (I think, not positive), I started to get sick fairly regularly - for 1-2 weeks every 2-3 weeks. Has anyone ever heard of someone being allergic to their fillings? What do you do to find out if you are?

My daughter is 4 and her top front tooth is loose. I know everyone is different but her sister did not lose her first tooth until she was 6 and it was on the bottom. Just wanting some answers to find out if it is normal or if I should contact her dentist.

I am getting all four of my wisdom teeth out in a few days and i am a little nervous because my mouth will be numb but i'm not getting put out. Plus, they are apparently still partly attached to the bone so i'm going to have to hear them saw through bone. Anyone else been through this who can let me know what to expect?

to see a dentist is there something else I can do? I have rinsed with warm salt water, it hurt pretty bad, I can't eat on that side, but it doesnt hurt when I bite down on my teeth, help!

I was just informed today that I have to have two root canals. I've never had one before and I'm very nervous. What's the best and worst that I can expect? Anything I should do to prepare myself (besides all the antibiotics I'm supposed to take)

I had a back molar pulled last Thursday. Everything was going fine until the roots got stuck and he had to dig them out. He had to put two stiches in it. The problem is that it has been hurting into my ear on the side that he pulled the tooth on. I have tried the vicodin he gave me, the motrin and the eurythurmicin but nothing seems to help. I just have a constant ache into my ear. Is there anyone out there that can help me out. I am supposed to get the stitches out tomorrow and I would hope that he gives me more vicodin because this is painful to my mouth and ear. Any help woule be appreciated. Thank you

I know I obviously need to go to the dentist; but they are not open right now. I will call them in the morning. I do not think I have a cavity on this tooth; but I was eating something and about a quarter of it broke off. It does not hurt, but it is cutting my tongue up. Does anyone know what they will do? Put a cap on it?

i have an impacted lower wisdom tooth which is pure agony tonight. its growing into my cheek area. nothing takes the pain away and i have all night to go yet!

tablets dont work, bonjela doesnt and clove oil doesnt. help!!! what can i put on it or take tonight that will ease the pain and help me sleep.

I got a few teeth pulled a couple months ago and plan to get dentures. In the mean time I've been having to manage eating with my gums. My question is is it possible to deform my gums this way? Or better yet will this make it harder for them to make dentures fit my mouth?
