well since the last few months i'm noticing that my teeth are turning yellowish...i brush my teeth regularly and i dont smoke as well.....i am planning to see a dentist but i fear that will be painful as he wil come up with lots of defects in my teeth...so before seeing a doc i want to find a solution myself...is there any home remedy or someone even told me it happens because of lack of calcium..is that so?

I am not sure of the lingering heath effects of having teeth pulled. If I had to replace my teeth being pulled I would probably simply get the root canals done. If I can live without my two upper molars I think I would just get them pulled.

I was really amazed at the number of parents who put their kids in the cot with a bottle of juice or cordial. It will rot their teeth!!
NEVER PUT A CHILD TO SLEEP WITH A BOTTLE OR food etc!!!!
when we sleep the saliva in our mouth decreases. this means our mouth doesnt have as much protection against bacteria that causes decay. if you put you child to sleep with food/ bottle (juice, cordial etc) everything just sits in the mouth and doesnt do the teeth any good. unless you want ur child to have rotten teeth i would suggest not doing this. the only thing that they should take to bed with them is a bottle of water. WATER! with flouride.
ok im done having my winge! goodnight :-)

Just over 2 weeks ago i had 6 teeth extracted (4 wisdom teeth) and of those 4 my 2 bottom ones were impacted and lying on an angle. My question is how long does the hole take to cover up as i am getting really sick of getting food stuck down there and also of the yucky taste! i went to the doc 3 days ago and asked if i had an infection because i was worried that this was not normal and he said that i did not have an infection and that everything looks ok so far... but i forgot to ask my questions, so i am asking anyone that know or has experienced this???

I had my right upper back tooth pulled and he gave me several shots to numb me up. The wierd thing is it still feels a little numb. It has that tingling feeling like when it is just coming undone from the shots. In the corner of my mouth and in between my cheek and gum.

I am missing 4 teeth due to an accident, but I wear a partial so nobody really notices. What do you do and how many teeth are you missing? Just curious. Thanx.

I'm TERRIFIED of the dentist, and I need one, and I'm sooo freaked out to get the work done that I need done. Is it as bad as I'm fearing? All those sharp metal things I can't see going into a sensitive place...ahhhh!

My gums are receeding and I don't know why. I don't have any diseases, they are pretty healthy. However, five years ago I had a molar removed. Thanks.

I had a mouthpiece made years ago for TMJ. Recently, my back teeth were hurting and I went to the dentist. He said there were no cavaties nor did I need a root canal. My problem is my TMJ, and the fact that I clench and grind my teeth. He said if my old mouthpiece didn't fit anymore (which it doesn't) then I could have another one made. Will a football mouthpiece work just as well to wear at night?

My friends say my teeth are average, but I'm kind of selfconcious (sp?) about it. And no, I really don't wanna go back to Listerine because it tastes HORRIBLE. And I hate mint toothepaste.
Any good advice?

I'm having some teeth crowned, but the dentist is not doing root canals. I thought that a root canal was required before crowning a tooth. I've got temporaries on right now - should I ask him to do root canals before installing the permanent crowns? Or is it better to keep the root? I'm embarrassed to ask my dentist because I don't want him to feel that I don't think he knows his job, but I've had crowns before and my old dentist always did a root canal before putting a crown on the tooth. Can anybody help?

Yes Yes I am going to take her to the Vet, but I just wanted to know... So her breath have been smelling bad recently i couldn't realize why, I mean I don't brush her teeth as much as I should, but I do at least 2 in 2 weeks. And I have this breath spray that cleans her mouth as well as deorderizes it.

This is even worse so when whe was panting right in front of my face, that is how i saw it, but it's not just rotton, it craked in the middle, so like the tooth is split in half, I mean she doesn't seem to have a problem with it, she eats, and chews her bones and plays all the same.

So my question is what are the Vets going to do you think? How can I prevent this from happening to my others dogs except brushing it regularly.
