My gums are receeding and I don't know why. I don't have any diseases, they are pretty healthy. However, five years ago I had a molar removed. Thanks.

If your gums are receeding, I would say they aren't totally healthy. You should see your dentist and bring it to their attention. I'm sure they could tell you what to or not to do. In the meantime, I found this to be informative: http://www.dental--health.com/recedinggums8.html .... Good Luck!

You maybe brushing your teeth too hard which can cause receeding of gums.

This stuff really works I use it. I take the capsules that you can buy at the drug store. They have some new kind that comes in a gel that you can apply to your gums be I don't think it's any more effective.

DH, if you are using tobacco, stop now, you will lose your teeth beginning with the rear teeth first. Tobacco will ruin your gums and therefore your teeth.

If I were you I would ask my dentist. He should know the answer.
